Make a Field Guide

This is a great way for you to connect your children to nature and to just get outside!
I loved this idea of letting children create their own nature field guide. There are many ways to do it, not just the tips on this link, use yours and your children’s imagination to come up with a unique field guide that they will hopefully keep up with over the years.
I have many nature guides and started to read to my daughter even though she is only 4 months old, it’s never too early. I’ve read her the usually baby books that are about ABC’s, numbers, colors and etc. but I don’t have any nature books for kids. Though she is too young for this activity, I wanted to make one for her level.
